Born and raised in Los Angeles, Tyler Westen has been writing music for movies for over 12 years.  He has worked closely and apprenticed with several top film composers including Christophe Beck, Tom Holkenborg (Junkie XL) Pinar Toprak, Danny Elfman, Clinton Shorter and Trevor Morris.

Able to traverse multiple genres with ease, Tyler has the skillsets to tackle any project.

When not composing, you can find Tyler playing with his two cats Emma and Whiskey, or at the Hollywood Bowl!
